Jurisprudence of Disasters: Law as Contributory, Law as Corrective

This is the website of a Collaborative Research Network founded under the auspices of the Law and Society Association.  The purpose of the CRN (and this website) is to provide a meeting place for scholars from many disciplines and professional walks of life who share a common interest in the Jurisprudence of Disasters.

Within this intellectual commons, we seek to foster the exchange of ideas, the networking of scholars with common research interests, the sharing of relevant information and knowledge, and the planning events related to our interests—such as meetings, conferences, and panel presentations at the Annual Meeting of the Law and Society Association.

The website is hosted by the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver, in conjunction with its graduate programs concentrating on Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
